A Story About a Story, 2010 is autobiographical in nature based on experiences with various "characters" stemming life changing events, recorded in journal drawings from 2002 through 2008. All the nursery rhyme and trickster like "characters" were created without an intention to introduce them together until it became apparent that they wanted to share a place and voice. They are presented in a story board and film strip sequence manner, speaking to the viewer as well as each other. Materials include: water based oil, acrylic, gouache, graphite drawn on a mylar silk screen (surprise inside,1998), mounted on masonite board 18"h x 36"w.
